Re: Mary Carrier

I met Mary Carrier when I was interviewing prospective real estate agents to list my mother’s house, located in North York. My mother had gone to a nursing home, had lived in her home since it was new in 1965, and no renovations had been done to the home. Mary came to our initial meeting completely prepared and answered any questions I had clearly and honestly. She also gave me suggestions to help make the house more appealing, which were based in common sense and elbow grease and didn’t require spending a large amount of money. I found Mary very easy to talk to and didn’t feel pressured by her. The decision to list with Mary was an easy one.

Mary held many open houses and ran ads in local flyers. She networked the house regularly at her office meetings and always followed up on any viewings with the prospective purchaser’s agent. Her feedback was invaluable to me.

There was a time that I thought that if you price your property correctly, any real estate agent could put up a sign, run a few ads, and sell it. In this difficult market, with a less than ideal house, this just doesn’t happen. Mary was there with me every step of the way. She was always patient, even when I wasn’t, and a kind voice on the end of the telephone when I needed a boost. Mary included every member of my family in the process and took the time to explain to them why she felt something needed to be done. We all appreciated Mary’s experience and input and listened to any suggestions she had.

I would highly recommend Mary Carrier to anyone selling their home. She is a great agent with a deep understanding of the real estate business.
