Mary Carrier was referred to us from a good friend. My friend described Mary as not only her agent but as her friend. As I worked with Mary preparing our house for sale, I understood what my friend meant. After working with Mary on the sale of my home, I now consider her a friend!

Mary has a great deal of experience assisting both buyers and sellers. As we worked through all the tasks and decisions on the sale of the house, Mary was able to provide essential guidance to help us make good choices. We worked with a stager at Mary’s suggestion. Although it was a bit difficult at first to accept the changes recommended by a stager (i.e. removal of our family furniture, change in paint colours), it was absolutely the right choice. Our house looked its best for the sale which benefitted us financially and the house sold quickly.

Mary’s experience and integrity really showed on the night we accepted offers. She guided us through the process and represented our interests to ensure we were happy with the results. In addition, Mary dealt with the co-operating brokers with fairness, while at the same time maintaining confidentiality with the competing offers in order to achieve the best results on our final sale.

Mary supported us by offering suggestions for tradespeople to make necessary repairs and improvements prior to sale. She also assisted us after the sale by providing support on the closing, and providing names of lawyers and movers.

What I think I like most about Mary is her kindness and honesty. She did not hesitate to assist and support us in this big transition. She manages to do it while always being open and honest. In an industry that may not always have transparency, I like that Mary always was up front with us about expectations and about what was necessary to make the house as marketable as possible.
